Achieving rapid and LASTING change as an interim manager

Achieving rapid and lasting change as an interim manager

Tuesday evening 16th March 2010. Full programme request

One of the key reasons interims are engaged is to bring about change.

In these competitive times it is vital to be able demonstrate that you can quickly add value.

Accordingly to start off the 2010 season we have a seminar where two of our members will be providing real life case studies and sharing how they achieved rapid and lasting change.

Bob Hartley an experienced Operations Director in the food sector has recently completed a 14 month Interimconnect assignment and he will be talking about how he has achieved change.

Tim Warren an Interim IT Director has operated extensively in the Public Sector and will talking about his change management approach in the NHS.

By attending you will:

  • Gain insights into how change has been achieved both in the Private and Public Sectors
  • Have the opportunity by working in groups to make your own contributions of how enduring change arises.

Who would benefit from attending?

Interim managers both established and new to the business, who are seeking to learn from others.

Other Benefits of attending:

  • An important part of the network is putting people to names . If you apply for an interim assignment and we have already met it obviously helps in putting your application forward
  • The majority of our members obtain their assignments through networks and contacts. This meeting gives the opportunity to make new or renew contacts with other career interims
  • Learn about the "Interimconnect" opportunity and meet the network
  • The meetings are the "engine" of the unadvertised network assignments you see distributed
  • The meetings also allow us to catch up with some of the 1200 + interims who have already attended Interimconnect events.
  • Finally, as with any network you only get out what you put in!

The seminar starts promptly at 6 p.m. finishes at 8 p.m. but there opportunities for networking both before the seminar and afterwards.

NB The venue for this meeting which will be Regents College in Regents Park . This is outside the congestion charge area and meter parking is available (free after 6.30 p.m.)

Benefits of booking early :

  • An "early bird" discount applies
  • Limited number of places available
