Interimconnect Limited

Privacy Policy.

With the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) in force we wanted to provide you with detail on how we use and store your data, as well as how you can access it. We want to assure you that any personal data is safe and secure and we will not share it with any third parties without your permission.

This is the Privacy Policy of Interimconnect Limited(IC) 2nd Floor, College House, Harrow, England HA1 1BE. Company registration number: 3932173 (England and Wales). We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 as Interimconnect Ltd., under reference Z9263659.

The policy sets out how IC collects, stores and uses personal information and/or other Confidential information including information about clients, interim managers, employees, web site visitors and suppliers.

Data we collect, how it is used and how it is accessed.

Interim managers.

Interim managers initially contact IC in order to be registered free on the database and be made aware of interim assignments generated by IC.

That initial contact can be in various forms. For example: The Interimconnect website (www.interimconnect.co.uk– “the website”), by telephone, e-mail, fax etc.

If interim managers then register an interest in joining IC they register their interest on the website form at “Register for membership” providing the following information.

Professional discipline, location, title, full name, availability, whether a member of a professional body, whether they have worked as an interim manager before, how they found the website and e-mail address.

Optionally they can also provide: Address and telephone contact numbers at that time.

After receiving the information form “Register for membership” IC then e-mails the interim manager requesting information for their profile, key strengths and key words for the database and if not previously provided their address and telephone contact numbers. (“the profile”)

Once provided the profile of the interim manager is added to the IC database with password protection and a unique IC reference. They then become a IC member (“member”). The member is then e-mailed and asked to log into their profile and change their password. The member can log in at any time through the password protected access to view or alter their profile or change their profile.

Profile information can be accessed by visitors to the website by the search facility on the website. However apart from the profile and unique IC reference no other profile information is displayed and if visitors to the website are interested in contacting a particular member they have to contact IC first. Members from time to time request IC to be featured on the website and their contact details shown as way of promoting their skills and experience.

If an interim manager does not respond to the request for the profile information within one month an e-mail reminder is sent. If still no response to the e-mail reminder the interims manager’s data is retained for a further year in case they do wish to complete their registration. After a year that data is deleted.

From time to time IC will send out interim assignment opportunities to members of the network. In the event that the member is interested in applying for an assignment opportunity they also provide a CV, how they fit, details about the limited company they operate through, professional indemnity insurance, references etc. and if applicable a limited company opt out form of The Conduct of Employments Agencies and Employment Business Regulations, 2003 (as amended). To comply with statutory obligations we keep limited company opt out forms and any commission agreements for six years.

IC may use the database to alert members about assignment opportunities based on their key words they have supplied.

If a member is put forward for an assignment opportunity to a client the application and CV is initially sent to the client on an anonymised basis. If the client wishes to meet with the member about the assignment IC will first ask the member for their permission to provide the contact details to the client. If the client wished to contact the member for the assignment IC may require a commission agreement from the member before putting the member in touch with the client.

The member’s profile data, or information provided when applying for an assignment, as set out above, is retained for as long as the interim manager wishes and until they “unsubscribe” by either using the contact form on the website or e-mailing IC at the e-mail address provided at the registration stage.

On receipt of an “unsubscribe” notification by a member IC will delete all data held on that member as soon as possible but not later than two weeks after receipt of the “unsubscribe” notification and advise by e-mail that the member has been unsubscribed.

As an IC member you can access you data at any time by logging into the website. To provide a copy of your information that we hold but not provided on your website account, you may send us a request using the contact form on the website. It can take up to 30 days to respond but we will try to respond as soon as possible.

In order to provide the best service we can to you as a member of IC and assist your chances of securing an assignment through the network we believe these uses of your data to be necessary for our legitimate interests as an organisation providing these services to you.

We need your consent for some aspects of the services we provide which are not covered by our legitimate interests (in particular the collection of  data via cookies and the delivery of any IC updates, or topics of interest to you as an interim manager). Depending on the situation IC will ask for this via an opt in or soft opt in (which we explain below). Soft opt-in consent is a specific type of consent which applies where you previously engaged with IC for example providing the profile information, a CV or registering an interest in joining IC. Under soft opt-in we will take your consent as given unless you opt-out by using the either using the contact form on the website or e-mailing IC at the e-mail address provided at the registration stage.
